New Date – Northern Nevada Colony will be in Fallon

On Saturday, October 4th, the Northern Nevada Colony is hosting an SMDSN informational social event from 2 to 4 p.m. in one of Fallon’s newest attractions, the C & C Social Club. From Fallon’s Maine Street in the historic downtown, Cranberry Cottage’s storefront appears as a very inviting local vintage and craft store. Hidden in the back of the store, behind an unmarked door that gives the appearance of a bookcase, lies a modern speakeasy. Reminiscent of a Prohibition era clandestine bar of the Roaring 20’s, it features antique furnishings, low-lighting and beautifully crafted woodwork. One feels transported back in time to a secret place. We will be meeting in its private area called the Whiskey Room which is fashioned in the style of the Old West for a social gathering.  Come one and all; members, friends and neighbors.
